We are a closed cattery committed to exceptional health and transparency.

All breeding cats are fully screened and test negative for PKD, FeLV, FIV, and parasites. Genetic screening is completed through Optimal Selection, and all of our breeding cats are clear—ensuring your kitten comes from fully tested lines.

We proudly offer a 2-year genetic health guarantee. In the rare event of a life-limiting genetic condition, we will provide a replacement kitten.

Our kittens are raised on a carefully balanced fresh diet using complete supplementation (EZ Complete / Alnutrin-style nutrition) to support optimal growth, coat quality, and digestive health.

We follow a conservative, individualized vaccination approach. Kittens receive age-appropriate veterinary care, including required vaccinations prior to placement. We are happy to discuss our protocol and provide guidance so new owners can continue care in partnership with their veterinarian.

Socialization & Early Care

All Nautilus Persian kittens are raised underfoot as cherished members of our family and are extensively socialized from birth. They are exposed to a wide variety of normal household environments including people of all ages, daily household sounds, television, music, kitchen activity, and routine household appliances.

This early conditioning helps ensure confident, well-adjusted kittens that transition smoothly into their new homes.

Our kittens are also raised alongside other pets in a supervised environment and are handled daily to promote calm, affectionate temperaments.

Grooming Foundations

As part of our commitment to producing high-quality, easy-to-maintain Persians, kittens are introduced early to grooming routines including bathing, blow-drying, and handling from approximately 6 weeks of age.

We are affiliated with the National Cat Groomers Institute of America and are pursuing advanced certification in feline grooming. This structured early grooming exposure helps ensure our kittens are well-prepared for lifelong coat care.

Nautilus Persians is a CFA and TICA registered preservation cattery dedicated to producing Persian kittens that reflect the breed standard for structure, coat, and temperament as recognized by the Cat Fanciers' Association and The International Cat Association.

Our breeding program is built on carefully selected, health-tested bloodlines, with pedigrees that include multiple generations of Grand Champions and Regional Winner titled cats. This allows us to consistently produce kittens with strong type, excellent temperament, and predictable quality.

We maintain full pedigree transparency and encourage families to review lineage and registration information for their kitten.

Our focus is on preserving the integrity of the Persian breed through responsible breeding practices, health testing, and consistent selection for quality.

Our kittens are selectively bred for their gentle, affectionate temperaments and are raised to be calm, confident companions suited for both families and individuals.

Nautilus Persians are known for their balanced personalities—playful and curious when engaged, yet naturally calm and easygoing in the home. They enjoy interactive play, gentle attention, and being close to their people.

Because Persians require regular grooming to maintain their coat health and appearance, we introduce grooming routines from an early age. Kittens begin gentle handling, bathing, and blow-drying starting at approximately 6 weeks old, helping them grow into adults who are comfortable and cooperative with grooming care.
