OUR AVAILABLE ALTERED ADULTS ARE EITHER RETIRED BREEDING CATS OR CATS WHO WERE CONSIDERED FOR OUR BREEDING PROGRAM BUT ULTIMATELY DID NOT MATURE AS WE HAD HOPED. PLACING THESE CATS ALLOWS US TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY, WELL-MANAGED PROGRAM WHILE ENSURING EACH CAT RECEIVES THE INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION AND QUALITY OF LIFE THEY DESERVE.
The first step in our rehoming process for alters and retirees is completing our application. This allows us to learn more about your home, lifestyle, preferences, and the type of companion you are hoping to welcome. Thoughtful placements are extremely important to us, and applications help ensure the best possible match for both the cat and the family.
Step 2: Application Review & Conversation
Once your application has been reviewed, approved homes may be invited to continue through the next stage of the process. This will include discussing which available cat may be the best fit based on temperament, personality, and household dynamics.
Step 3: Reservation & Placement
After a match has been determined, placement details, scheduling, and transition plans will be finalized. Our goal is to ensure each Nautilus Persian transitions smoothly into a loving, lifelong home where they will be cherished as family members.
Step 4: Ongoing Support
We value lasting relationships with our owners and remain available long after placement for guidance, support, and questions throughout your cat’s lifetime.
