Chips (Reserved for Brandon & Family)

Chips (Reserved for Brandon & Family)

Meet Chips!
This handsome one year old blue tabby boy is looking for his perfect forever home.

We have decided to retire Chips from our breeding program because he is too closely related to all of our females. We also feel that he will be much happier getting to live out the life of a pampered house cat while getting the attention he deserves.
Chips is very cuddly and will want to sleep on your pillow every night and lay next to you all day. He loves playing with teaser toys and will never turn down a meal.

In terms of grooming needs he very low maintenance for a Persian. His eyes do not drain badly or stain, but we still recommend daily eye cleaning.  Despite having a dilute coat, his coat is not quick to mat, and with a proper bath, blow dry and comb out (or shave) every six to eight weeks he should be good to go. Currently he is shaved into a comb cut to make his maintenance even easier.
We believe that he should settle into his new home quickly as long as you have a warm lap and lots of yummy food for him, but remember that it is important to that you confine any new cat to one small room such a bathroom or bedroom for at least three days to help keep them as stress-free as possible.

While in isolation, you can monitor how well they eat, drink, and uses their litter box. Don't be surprised if your kitten doesn't poop for 24 to 48 hours. This is normal behavior for a cat when it has a change of environment.

You should place your new cat in his/her new litter box several times when they arrive at home. They likely will not use the litter box at that time. Instead, they probably just
jump out and carry on with exploring their new environment, but placing them in the litter box will remind them of where it is when it's time to potty. If by some off chance your cat pees or poops outside of the litter box - put the waste in the appropriate litter box. Do not allow the cat to come out of quarantine until they are using the litter box.

Make sure to sit in the room with your cat, at their level and interact with them using a toy and offer lots of gentle pets. Nautilus Persians are known for their affectionate personalities and love receiving pets and cuddles. Your new cat should come
right up to you and seek your love.

His rehoming fee is $450. He will be neutered and have his shots updated before going home.
